Elvis Presley Filmography

After Elvis Presley became a big name in the music industry, he started a career as a movie actor. His first movie was Love Me Tender, a Musical Western Film.

Most of his movies were musical comedies (Like Jailhouse Rock and King Creole). He also made 2 regular movies, both of them westerns: Charro and Flamming Star, although he singed at least once in each movie. In the mid sixties, Elvis Presley was fully dedicated to the movies business, being the soundtracks for his films his only music material releases. Most critics agree that the quality of Elvis Presleys movies varied. After the 1969 movie :"Change of Habit", Elvis Presley went back to music recording and concert touring.
